Neuer Name: Galerie Pavlova wird zu JARVIS DOONEY GALERIE

Heute erreichte uns die Mitteilung, dass die Berliner Galerie Pavlova zukünftig unter dem Namen JARVIS DOONEY GALERIE firmiert:

After a lot of deliberation and reflecting on the first two years of Galerie Pavlova, we have decided to change the name of the gallery to Jarvis Dooney.

Although the name Pavlova has practically immediate recognition to those from Australia and New Zealand, in Europe its more often associated with Russia and the ballerina who inspired the renowned dessert…

We are now in the process of launching the new identity, so many updates and changes will take place between now and the end of 2015.

Our focus will remain contemporary photography with an emphasis on Australia and New Zealand, we’ll still continue to promote exciting new emerging artists, and we’ll maintain our minimum of 50% female artists on our roster. That isn’t to say we don’t have a few changes in store, however you’ll have to wait and see what those are when they’re ready to be revealed.
