bis 15.02. | #4130ARTatBerlin | Q Gallery shows from 19th December 2023 (Opening: 16.12.) the solo exhibition „Eine Art 4Room Show“ by the artist Jan Plewka.
Jan Plewka has made a name for himself not only on stage with his band Selig, but also as an interpreter of Rio Reiser. He is also an impressive multifaceted actor. But what many people don’t know is that Jan Plewka is also an artist, with a degree in graphics and design, and has been drawing and painting for as long as he’s been making music.

The turbulent times of the pandemic served as a creative turning point that led him back to painting. QGallery presents the result of this creative period in this particular exhibition.

Jan Plewka’s works move between raw and abstract art, are intensely colourful and carry personal references. His poetry not only permeates the titles of his works, but also manifests itself in his typographic works.
