Johannes Gervé was born in Karlsruhe in 1965. From 1984 to 1991, he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe, where he was a master student under Prof. Klaus Arnold. He has been a freelance artist since 1991. Johannes Gervé is a member of the German Artists’ Association. His paintings were most recently exhibited in a notable show at the Museum Ettlingen.

Gervé’s works are held in private and public collections, including the Würth Collection, the Städtische Galerie Karlsruhe, the Museum Schloss Ettlingen, the EnBW Art Collection in Karlsruhe, the Städtische Sammlung Bühl, the BBBank Art Collection, the Stuttgart Regional Council and the Karlsruhe Regional Council.
