until 20.06. | #5072ARTatBerlin | Galerie Schindler shows from Saturday , 9. May 2026 the exhibition it is on us by the artist Janosch Weiss.

Janosch Weiss is a Berlin-based artist and photographer whose work focuses on the dynamic between humans and nature, as well as on themes such as perception, memory, and identity. His works challenge the classical relationship between figure and background by allowing them to merge. Situated within the tension between the human being as a part of nature—and simultaneously as its shaper or destroyer—his images strive toward a conciliatory stance.

In the creative process, the boundaries between human, nature, and technology blur into a symbiosis. Through movement and immersion in natural textures, bodies merge into new forms. His projects—such as “HUMAN·NATURE” and “ephemeral”—emphasize the ephemeral, dreamlike nature of all things, placing colors, textures, and organic compositions at the forefront.

These works counter increasing polarization and alienation with a visual and symbolic sense of hope; through his art, Janosch Weiss demonstrates how, through conscious turning toward one another and a process of re-integration, the rigid boundaries between the individual, the community, and nature can once again become permeable.

The exhibition invites visitors to embark on a visual and emotional journey of rethinking—to explore the possibility of a new, yet ancient, way of living together.
