You are cordially invited to our next exhibition opening at Schillerstraße 15. We discovered the beautiful title MAL MITTELFORMATE, DU IDIOT! (PAINT MEDIUM FORMATS, YOU IDIOT!) at the visit at Sid Gastl’s studio.

This title may give a hint about the presentations character: Confident from the depths of their hearts the two painters, for which the creating of a painting represents an extensive concept, are not an assertor of a somehow natured conceptual art. They are painting for the living room and the museum as well as for the museum collection.

While Sid Gastl will present a new group of monochrome paintings as well as drawings, Fritz Bornstück practices the form of making collages. He is assembling painted cloth on his canvases which are initiating the idea of the three-dimensional and are guiding the human eye into the differentiated sight.

MAL MITTELFORMATE, DU IDIOT! is an exhibition that gifts the beholder with the heedful experience of new painting.
The exhibition is from March 17 to April 21, 2018. You are cordially invited to the opening on Friday, March 16, 2018.
