Each individual work and each exhibited photographic series represents a microcosm of the life of Andy Warhol. The focus is on the artistic synergies that have arisen in the work between him and well-known photographic artists. The factory, founded by Andy Warhol in the early 1960s, also occupies a prominent space in the exhibition. Photographs by Cecil Beaton and Steve Schapiro show rare insights into the inner world of this creative center in New York.
