until 21.07. | #2083ARTatBerlin | Griesbach ART (ARTCADIA Gallery) and China Conception show from 16th July 2018 at Löwenpalais the exhibition”Berlin meets Chengdu” with the artists Aldo Cristofaro, David Mildner, Peter Lindenberg, Martin Werthmann, Wang Lan, Bao Weifeng and Huang Zhuoran.

The German capital Berlin and the 14 million inhabitants metropolis Chengdu of the Chinese province Sichuan – both cities are under the sign of the bears: The brown bear in the coat of arms of Berlin and Chengdu, which designates itself as “Panda capital” of the world.

However, Berlin and Chengdu have even more in common: an extremely creative, artist-driven scene for the respective countries.

Every now and then there were tentative attempts to bring the two artificial worlds together to work out their similarities as well as their differences.

With “Berlin Meets Chengdu” we now want to take a closer look. We want to explore where the artists are touching, where they inspire each other, or how they can collaborate on joint projects in the future.

Berlin artist Aldo Cristofaro, David Mildner, Peter Lindenberg and Martin Werthmann meet Chinese artists Wang Lan, Bao Weifeng and Huang Zhuoran. This exhibition is the first step in a wider future cooperation between artists from Berlin and artists from Chengdu.
