until 30.03. | #1092ARTatBerlin | The gallery JeanMichelBerlin presents from 2nd of March 2017 for the first time the works of autodidact Hans Albrecht von Maltzahn. His artistic style was described by art experts as “romantic surrealism”.

Hans Albrecht von Maltzahn is an extraordinary person with an extraordinary life. His paintings, whose art style is best described as “Romantic Surrealism”, have emerged in the different phases of life.

Hans Albrecht von Maltzahn, who was born in Pinnow, Mecklenburg on 1 November 1934, and grew up there until his escape to Hamburg in 1945, can be rightly described as a cosmopolitan. He worked as an entrepreneur and company founder in the USA, South America and Germany. In 1990 he returned to Mecklenburg, where he became a farmer. The horse lover was a polo player since 1960, and for many years he was president of the German Polo Association. Today he is their honorary president.
Since 1970, he has been painting and he will be exhibiting his works for the first time at Galerie JeanMichelBerlin on 2 March 2017.
