until 24.04. | #1922ARTatBerlin | Galerie Martin Mertens shows from 7th April 2018 the exhibition”With freedom, books, flowers and the moon, who could not be happy?” by the artist Tessa Verder and the artist duo Tum Tum.

This exhibition focuses on the presentation of the book Breeze of Light by Tessa Verder.
The book has just been published and includes work by the Berlin-based Dutch artist from the last 20 years.
At the opening, the two catalog authors will also be present, whose texts extensively examine the work of Tessa.

During the exhibition there is the possibility to purchase a special edition of this book at a preferential price. You can also have the book signed by the artist during the opening.

In the exhibition With freedom, books, flowers and the moon, who could not be happy?, various landscapes by Verder as well as humorous wall objects by the duo Tum Tum are shown. Tum Tum (Herman Lijftogt and Tessa Verder) creates three-dimensional objects from photographs, embroidery and fragments from bird books – work with a wink!
