until 25.07. | #5081ARTatBerlin | Galerie Inga Kondeyne shows from Friday, 05. June 2026 a Solo-exhibition by the artist Jana Troschke.
“In my drawings, I create a composition featuring forms, found objects and fragments that are often contrasting. These form a kind of conglomerate in which everything is interconnected. It is not static, but rather a snapshot of a larger movement: the movement of inclusion.”
At the moment, I am preoccupied with the relationship between form and the absence of form. Reducing form in favour of space. Yet I am struck by the realisation that the idea that everything is form helps me to bridge this duality. When I allow everything to be form—including the empty space—an intertwining can occur that moves me.
Much of my work has emerged spontaneously and often very quickly. Now, however, there are drawings that call for a slower pace. They want to grow, just as an apple grows. They need a pause, a process of feeling their way and discarding ideas – but above all, they need trust.
