until 15.12. | #4062ARTatBerlin | Galerie Kremers presents from 20. October 2023 the exhibition “Riding on a Boat of Fools” of the artist Gregor Hiltner.
Ships, especially ships of fools, are among the leitmotifs of the artist Gregor Hiltner. This is not surprising, as he can use them to depict the themes that have preoccupied him throughout his life: Travelling and setting out for other worlds and man’s being at the mercy of hostile elements.

This existential being thrown into the world and the resulting insecurity are Hiltner’s central themes, as well as the short-sighted and often absurd handling of this situation, which he observes in himself and his fellow travellers.
We look forward to a variety of often very large-scale works from different creative periods and techniques, including brand new works.
