until 05.08 | #2102ARTatBerlin | Galerie Verein Berliner Künstler (VBK) shows from 21st July 2018 the Solo Exhibition REVIEW (Rückblick) with works by the artist Eberhardt Purrucker.
The gallery VEREIN BERLINER KÜNSTLER presents the title REVIEW from 21.07. until 05.08. 2018 works by 91-year-old artist EBERHARDT PURRUCKER. The exhibition gives an insight into his long and interesting artistic work. On display are early to recent works.
His motives are manifold: houses, trees, landscapes, fountains, water, clouds. Whether photography, watercolor or drawing – in his works, temperament, drama and energy can always be felt. Purrucker’s big theme is nature in all its varieties. In his works, he plays with the transfer of the objective to the abstract, thus leading the viewer on an associative journey. His sculptural snapshots, which evolve from movement and rhythm, dominate his pictorial character, and regardless of when the work was created, they reflect a deep creativity and an uninterrupted young and alert spirit of the artist.
The artist himself says of his artistic work: “The forces, the processes of creation, which form the wealth of forms and forms of our environment, also shape every individual, for it is itself a part of nature. My dynamic compositions are internalized experiences of nature, as in nature movement and rhythm determine the image character. The eruptive gestures, the> written-on <brush marks are the expression of the individual, become self-portrayals of the interior. The sketch-like shows the energy of the creative process and turns the images into virtual objects that the viewer can deal with. There are no limits to his imagination “.

His works are in many private and public collections.
