until 03.09. | #3487ARTatBerlin | Galerie Kornfeld presents from 2. July 2022 the group exhibition “Blick zurück nach vorn“ (Looking back to the future) for the 10th anniversary of the gallery.

To mark the 10th anniversary of the gallery, Galerie Kornfeld presents the exhibition “Looking Back to the Future”, which shows the artists who have accompanied the gallery during this decade.

Looking back and looking forward gave rise to the idea of having early works by the artists enter into a dialogue with their current works in the gallery’s tenth anniversary exhibition. A visit to the anniversary exhibition opens up touching glimpses backwards and forwards; we witness sensitive and exciting dialogues between, in part, first artistic attempts and mature works. The works on display allow us to sense the inner struggle and transformation, the eternal search for what is hidden behind the visible.

Perhaps the friends of the gallery will recognise in one or two glances backwards and forwards their own search for that which is only revealed to the artist through years of profound examination.

Past and present, a long time span – or just a moment apart?

With the artist: Azzam, Elvira Bach, Stéphane Couturier, Nick Dawes, Paris Giachoustidis, Hubertus Hamm, Natela Iankoshvili, Rusudan Khizanishvili, Franziska Klotz, Tamara Kvesitadze, Christopher Lehmpfuhl, David Meskhi, Susanne Roewer, Hubert Scheibl, Martin Spengler, Jan Tichy, Ivana de Vivanco.
