Alin A. Cowan draws. She skilfully draws with pencil, charcoal, graphite, markers or biros, mostly on paper and cardboard, but also on wood. Her works, some of them in large format, show tendrils, webs, branches, veins, lines, organic, undergrowth, insect-like, fairy nets, surreal nightmares, but also dreamlike blossoms and buds.

Biography
born 1987 in Aschaffenburg, grew up in Germany and Romania
2005-07 specialized baccalaureate for design at the Fachoberschule für Sozialwesen und Gestaltung, Munich
2009-15 studies and diploma in freelance painting and graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich
2016-19 Studies “Art in Context” (Master), University of the Arts, Berlin since 2016 various art and theater projects, art actions, performances, video, with the Berlin artist Ben Wagin connected them a longer working
and living community.
Alin A. Cowan lives and works in Berlin.
