until 07.12. | #2602ARTatBerlin| Galerie Inga Kondeyne – Raum für Zeichnung shows from 25th October 2019 an exhibition by the artist Alexander Klenz in the backstage of the gallery with a small selection of new works on paper.

The artist regularly meets himself in daily work at the desk in the uncertainty of the day. He seems to fathom his scope on the sheet in the self-set, rectangular boundaries; framework conditions that he has created for his concentrated settings. What is conspicuous in the exhibited works is the return of rectangular surfaces applied with lacquer. Klenz conquers the adjacent areas with free lines. Coloured pencil lines playfully connect the individual elements and levels, often rearing up.

In terms of forms, the lower part of each work contains a narrow field for one of his three address stamps, stamped work designations and for the signature.
