until 21.06. | #5078ARTatBerlin | Galerie Creative Game shows from Friday, 5. June 2026 the exhibition Stille und Übermaß by the artist Ina Münch.

With “Silence and Excess”, the Creative Game Gallery presents recent works by the abstract painter Ina Münch, offering a focused insight into her practice. The exhibition highlights key pieces from her body of work as well as new works from the “Cloud Dancer” series. The works range from intimate small-scale pieces to monumental canvases.

Ina Münch’s painting navigates the tension between minimalism and intensity. Stillness emerges in condensed, minimalist colour fields of subtle presence, whilst excess finds expression in expressive colour and gestural dynamism. The exhibition presents a body of work that balances concentration and excess, tranquillity and movement, condensation and dissolution.

Using acrylic, marble dust, chalk and graphite, Münch creates multi-layered pictorial spaces, some of which feature a relief-like texture. Her works emerge through complex processes of layering, densification and shifting the orientation of the support – a continuous balancing act between materiality, movement and equilibrium.

The latest series of works, “Cloud Dancer”, expands on this approach with compositions in neutral tones that oscillate between landscape-like associations and free abstraction.

Ina Münch studied in Konstanz. After many years in Berlin-Lichterfelde, she now lives and works in Teltow. In 2024, Ina was awarded the 1st Hoppegarten Art Prize. Her works are held in private collections both in Germany and abroad. Numerous solo and group exhibitions underscore her presence on the art scene. Ina Münch: “For me, a blank canvas means freedom.”
