Grundemark Nilsson Gallery was a privately run Berlin gallery with a portfolio of both classical and contemporary photography by Swedish artists. The gallery had about 5 – 6 exhibitions per year, which were documented in an annual catalogue. Grundemark Nilsson Gallery saw it as their task to create a platform for selected photographers to present their work to an international audience. An important part of this was the regular participation in international art fairs. The gallery was founded in Stockholm (Sweden) in 2007 and moved to Berlin (Germany) in 2010.
A special focus of the diverse portfolio was on the new generation of contemporary photo artists, complemented by famous masters such as Christer Strömholm, Dawid or Tuija Lindström, who have inspired and influenced many generations with their work. In addition to the exhibition programme, Grundemark Nilsson Gallery has been active in other art-related projects, such as book publications, panel discussions and artist talks. Grundemark Nilsson Gallery was a member of AIPAD (The Association of International Photography Art Dealers).
The gallery was located in Lindenstraße in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
