until 26.02. | #3287ARTatBerlin | Contemporary Fine Arts presents from 8th January 2022 the exhibition Zeitmaschine Balthus with all the pieces from a private art collection in Berlin, which includes works by 18 artists.

With the exhibition ZEITMASCHINE BALTHUS, CFA Berlin presents a Berlin private collection that has been created in close collaboration with the gallery over the past 25 years.

The collector, who wishes to remain anonymous, has, for family and age reasons, decided to sell the collection in order to generate the basic capital for a foundation. The goal and purpose of this foundation is to make a long-term commitment to a Berlin art institution. The profits will be used to fund a full-time art education position and support one major exhibition project per year.

“For everyone involved in this project, Berlin has been the private and professional center for a long time. The exhibition also serves as a sentimental journey through 30 years of CFA’s existence. We are pleased to have the opportunity to support this philanthropic commitment with this exhibition in our city.”
