until 13.04. | #2370ARTatBerlin | Galerie mutare shows from 2nd March 2019 the exhibition Abstrakte Bildwelten (> Abstract Picture Worlds) by the artist Volker Henze.

The abstract work of Volker Henze is penetrated by a passionate energy and a pervaded colour sensitivity. His non-representational colour compositions seem to be fluently in motion, radiating a powerful beauty. The painting style becomes spontaneous and intuitive. The encounter of lively, exciting colours with abstract shaping creates an optical illusion, that seems to perceive multiple dimensions within one flat surface. This is how large-format imageries emerge on the canvas that with painterly intensity create a beautiful, vibrant, at the same time expressive world.
