until 29.02. | #2634ARTatBerlin | Stella A. presents on the occasion of the 20th gallery anniversary from 22nd November 2019 the exhibition THINK SMALL! with works by numerous artists.
“For twenty years we have been presenting in about 100 exhibitions a program, which could be named (classified under the topic) „Think small“. The title refers to a contribution by George Brecht to an exhibition called „My Cologne Cathedral“ in 1980 (see illustration). The invitation „Think Small!“ not only concerns the size/format of the works but refers to an attitude of „Slower, smaller, less“ as well (notice our show in 2010). Persistently repeating ourselves, we present works dealing with quite complex questions while employing very little material costs, thus making it possible for the beholder to feel part of the creative act.
On the occasion of our 20th anniversary in the location Gipsstraße we are presenting selected works of the artists listed below.
We cordially invite you to the exhibition THINK SMALL!”
