until 27.10. | #2202ARTatBerlin | PSM Gallery shows from 18th September 2018 an  exhibition featuring works by Peggy Franck and Freek Wambacq, curated by Sjoerd Kloosterhuis.

Peggy Franck (1978, The Netherlands) lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Her lusciously coloured works offer an unusual combination of painting, installation and photography.

Solo-exhibitions include: Stigter van Doesburg, Amsterdam (2018), Arcade, London (2018 and 2016), Luceber huis, Bergen aan Zee, Stigter van Doesburg, Amsterdam (2014), Fons Welters, Amsterdam (2012) and Westfälischer Kunstverein, Münster (2009).
Her work has been included in group exhibitions at: Hilversum Museum, Hilversum (2017), Martin van Zomeren, Amsterdam (2017), Manifesta Foundation, Amsterdam (2014), The Photographers Gallery, London (2013), Nieuwe Vide, Haarlem (2013), FOAM, Amsterdam (2011), Museum de Pont, Tilburg (2011), Zabludowicz Collection, London (2011) and Museum voor Moderne Kunst Arnhem (2009)

Freek Wambacq (1978, Belgium) lives and works in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In his practice he makes use of a wide range of materials which often allude to the reality beyond the image.

Solo exhibitions of his work have been held at Witte de With, Rotterdam (2015), Objectif Exhibitions, Antwerpen (2013), Museum M, Leuven (2011), Kiosk, Gent (2008), Netwerk Center for Contemporary Art, Aalst (2008), SMAK, Gent (2005). Last year he presented an intervention in the show Warming Up, Miquel-Angel Cardenas, at Rozenstraat-a rose is a rose is a rose, Amsterdam (2017).
His work has been included in group exhibitions at: Madragoa, Lisbon (2017), Kunstverein München, Munich (2017), CAC – Contemporary Art Centre, Vilnius (2016), De Appel Arts Centre, Amsterdam (2016), Wiels, Brussels (2015), Magazin 4 – Kunstverein Bregenz, Bregenz (2014).

Both artists were artist in residence at Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin in 2010-2011.

Exhibition period: Tuesday, 18th September – Saturday, 27th October 2018
