until 15.04. | #3766ARTatBerlin | Galerie aKonzept & Raphaël Levy shows from 25 November 2022 the exhibition “Instabiles Etwas – Stabiles Nichts – Stabiles Etwas – Instabiles Nichts” with works by the artist Oliver Heicke.

Oliver Heicke – The noise of the landscape

The works exhibited in the gallery are the latest paintings by Oliver Heicke. They are divided into three groups: the series of three KNITTER GRIDS from 2021, the series of five GRAY from 2022 and the large diptych also from 2022. Added to this body of work is INFANT 14 from 2015 as a “guest work”. This allows us to approach the newer paintings by making connections to older works. The decision to present the artist’s short films is part of this effort to provide the viewer with relevant keys to enter the rich and consistent body of work that Oliver Heicke has been developing for more than 40 years. Painting, drawings, objects, films and music are Heicke’s constant media. They are worked on together and influence each other. These media are, as it were, “musicians” that the artist conducts to form the architecture of a visual opera.
