until 15.04. | #3824ARTatBerlin | PSM Gallery shows since 07. March 2023 the exhibition Ball auf der Nase by the artist Nazim Ünal Yilmaz.
In his second solo exhibition in Berlin, Nazim Ünal Yilmaz (born 1981 in Trabzon, Turkey) shows new paintings from the last three years.
The collection of works in the PSM is an attempt to tell about a contemporary social crisis. The sun, our ultimate source of life, can create the conditions for the birth of all living things. But the sun can be just as deadly – thanks to every narcissist among us and the way we mistreat the irreplaceable treasure.
“Ball on the Nose” weaves concepts and styles into pressing questions that are open-ended rather than providing specific answers. Nazim’s sense of humor nevertheless gives us hope, a feeling that spreads through the core of the exhibition and gives us clues to think about ourselves.

This exhibition is accompanied by a SPENDENRAUMmaufgrund the terrible earthquakes in Turkey and Syria and the urgently needed support.
A space will be set up in the gallery’s loggia to showcase smaller works and editions by Nazim Ünal Yilmaz, other gallery artists, and artists from the following Berlin galleries: ChertLüdde, Haverkampf Leistenschneider, Klemm’s and Levy.
The presented artworks and editions can be purchased by donating 1000 EUR to an organization of the respective artist’s choice. Upon presentation of proof of donation, the selected artwork or edition will be given to the donor.
A list of artists and their artwork will be made available beginning March 4, 2023.
