until 27.04. |#3428ARTatBerlin | Galerie Dittmar presents since 8. April 2022 the exhibition Time Line by the artist Myriam El Haïk.

Myriam El Haïk is a Moroccan-French artist, composer and performance artist. She lives and works in Berlin, Paris and Rabat. Her artistic language is based on specific signs and patterns and is inspired by both Moroccan and European culture. In her work, she focuses on the connection between music and visual art and develops notation systems whose starting point are repetitive, minimalist musical pieces, compositions by the artist.

Thus, her works correspond to visual transcriptions of musical structures, as is equally true for her installations, videos and performance appearances. These richly rhythmic forms of expression are both complex and reduced, cross-media and coherent in themselves. In addition to solo and group exhibitions in Morocco and Europe, the artist has had performance appearances in Paris, London, Montreal and New York.
