until 02.09 | #3967ARTatBerlin | Galerie Tammen shows from 14th July 2023 the solo exhibition “Mimese” with sculptures and objects by the artist Matthias Garff.

“The motif of the animal and the use of found objects are essential features of my work. It questions man’s relationship to nature and is based on experiences in an urban environment where nature can be experienced primarily in cultivated form. My animals are city dwellers, their bodies formed from legacies of our civilisation. Architecture is landscape and habitat.”
