until 26.10. | #2542ARTatBerlin | Galerie Born Berlin presents from 6th September 2019 the exhibition with new paintings by the artist John Adams Griefen. 

JOHN ADAMS GRIEFEN is an artist and he was born in the USA in 1942. His work has been exhibited in thirty-five individual exhibitions, fifteen in New York City and the others in Canada, Germany, Holland, France and Australia. The work is also in the collections of thirty-one museums including the Metropolitan Museum and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C., and in the J. W. Power Collection at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, Australia.

After living in New York City for fifty years, Griefen moved to France with his wife, Nancy Dawson, where he now lives and works.

  • From 30 August to 3 November 2019 Klaus Hack + Grégoire Hespel – Sculpture and Painting will be shown at the Born Gallery’s branch in Born on the Darss River.
  • Emil Bienefeld / TRIP – Urban Art can be seen in the gallery’s Heiddorf project space until 20 October 2019.
