until 07.07. | #4269ARTatBerlin | Loock Galerie presents from 26. April 2024 (Vernissage: 25.4.) the Exhibition „360°“ by the artist Irina Ojovan.

The exhibition showcases Irina’s distinctive works characterized by their clear lines and precise execution. Through a deliberate placement at the gallery’s four corners, her pieces explore the nuanced deconstruction of the circle. Seamlessly blending painting, sculpture, and architectural elements, Irina’s art invites viewers into a realm where abstract forms resonate with cultural significance.

Far beyond mere formalism, Ojovan’s works emerge as vibrant individuals, each possessing its own distinct character and narrative, portrayed in various lights and moments in time. From the break of dawn to the onset of dusk, the quiet anticipation of rain on a somber grey day or shrouded in fog.

The paintings address the idea of reflection, mirroring, duality and simultaneous presence by layering and combing materials. This forms the foundation for the four sculptures that complete the exhibition.
