until 08.05. | #2964ARTatBerlin | Bermel von Luxburg Gallery presents from 18th March 2021 the group show with the title GENESIS as an encounter of five artists – a dialogue between three painters and two sculptures.

GENISIS will feature new artworks by Roberto Cordone, Djeric-Hunold, Nadège Mouyssinat and Robert Pan.

The etymology of the title GENESIS comes from the Greek word “gignesthai” carrying the meaning: “to be born, a beginning or the origin of anything”. The first book of the Old Testament recounts with the Genesis the events from the Creation of the World.

Relating the meaning of Genesis to the current state of the world we live in, Bermel von Luxburg Gallery wants to set a sign to reflect the rebirth of cultural and social life. We are all experiencing world-wide social distancing, seclusion, some might even say, a deprivation of joy of life, arts and culture.
