until 26.11. | #0738ARTatBerlin | insitu shows from 13th September 2016 the exhibition Timebridge by the artist Egill Saebjörnsson at Salon Dahlmann.

As a prelude to Cycle IV’s general theme of ‘time travel’, insitu presents Icelandic artist Egill Saebjörnsson’s new site-specific work Timebridge. The installation makes the concept of time physically and mentally tangible for the audience: how can we imagine 500 years in the future or 1000 years in the past?

Timebridge takes place in the Concierge-room of Salon Dahlmann for which insitu was invited to guest curate during the Berlin Art Week 2016.

Egill Sæbjörnsson (born 1973 in Iceland) lives and works in Berlin. He is represented by i8 Gallery in Reykjavik and Hopstreet Gallery in Brussels. Sæbjörnsson will represent Iceland in the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017.

Vernissage: Monday, 12th September 06:00 – 09:00 p.m.

exhibition period: Tuesday, 13th September – Saturday 26th November 2016
