until 18.04. | #2349ARTatBerlin | GALERIE SPRINGER BERLIN presents from 12th February 2019 the exhibition ANTHROPOCENE – New Photographs by the Canadian artist and photographer Edward Burtynsky.
»Mankind has reached a precarious point in the history of the planet it inhabits. Their influence on the Earth is stronger than all the forces of nature combined!«
Edward Burtynsky’s comprehensive project “The Anthropocene” examines the state, dynamics and future of the Earth under the influence of man-made changes. In it he has created a multidisciplinary group of works comprising photography, film, virtual reality, augmented reality and scientific work.
In the exhibition we show a high-ranking selection of photographs from the series. We cordially invite you and your friends to the opening of the exhibition on Saturday, February 9. At the same time we invite you to the artist talk with Edward Burtynsky on Thursday, 14.02.2019 at 19 o’clock in the gallery.
We would also like to draw your attention to the film presentation of “Anthropocene: The Human Epoch” at the Berlinale.
