until 08.04. | #0979ARTatBerlin | Gallery Sprüth Magers Berlin shows from 27th January 2017 an exhibition by the artist Cindy Sherman.
Cindy Sherman presents her latest body of work, exhibited in its entirety for the very first time in Europe. The large-scale portraits further develop the themes of identity, gender and role-play that are mainstays in her practice. In this series, the artist imagines herself as a cast of grandes dames from the Golden Age of 1920s Hollywood cinema.
Vernissage: Thursday, 26th January 2017, 6 to 9 p.m.
Exhibition period: Friday, 27th January to Wednesday, 8th April 2017
