until 21.05. | #1306ARTatBerlin | König Galerie shows from 29th April 2017 the exhibition “The Stone that the Builder refused” by the artist Jose Dávila.

Another new exhibition is coming to Johann König’s showrooms at Dessauer Straße 6: the Mexican artist Jose Dávila (b. 1974) presents an expansive installation that, in wrestling with itself, almost seems to defy the laws of physics. The collision between antagonistic forces yields a balance that makes Dávila’s show a center of calm amid the urban fabric. The artist’s work is included in the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, the Museo Nacional de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid, the Renee and Mark Rockefeller Collection, New York, and other major collections.

Vernissage: Friday, 28th April 2017, 06:00 – 09:00 p.m.

Exhibition period: Saturday, 29th April – Sunday, 21st May 2017
