The large-format diptych “Battle” (220 x 320 cm), inspired by a Rubens drawing, captures the furor of the horses and riders delivered to the battlefield, especially through the only sketchy figures.

Fug itivity is a predominant characteristic of Andrea Lehnert’s pictures. Experienced things dissolve into imagination. Regardless of the motif, Andrea Lehnert’s painting approaches the nuances and spaces, the unfathomable and the unrepresentable.

Her work is shown in galleries in Düsseldorf, Berlin, Luxembourg and the Netherlands; In September 2021 she was represented at the trade fairs Positions Berlin (lorch + seidel) and KunstRAI Amsterdam (Nasty Alice).
