until 04.12. | #0888ARTatBerlin | Galerie Crone shows from 12th November 2016 the exhibition “Schall und Rauch” by the artist Constantin Luser.
We would like to cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition „Schall und Rauch“ by Constantin Luser. The opening reception will take place on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 7 pm to 9 pm in our Berlin gallery, Rudi-Dutschke-Strasse 26, 10969 Berlin.
We are pleased to introduce you to our newest artist addition Constantin Luser with this exhibition and to present his first solo show at our gallery in Berlin.
Constantin Luser’s fragile and sinuous sculptures in brass and wire remind us of sound and music. The initial point of those three-dimensional wire meshes is the realization of many drawings of organic forms, which he sketches using several pens at the same time. Through the parallel layout of the lines and the wire, the primary very impulsive and straight forms become statically-abstract, almost like renderings or digital patterns. At the same moment the structure appears something fantastic-surreal, associations to rhythm or architecture will also reveal themselves. Spatial and thematic frontiers disappear and make way to a perception, which oscillates between reality and imagination.
Constantin Luser was born in 1976 in Graz, Austria. His work was presented in many solo and group shows, including exhibitions in the Belvedere Vienna, the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, the NGBK Berlin, the Centre Culturel Suisse, Paris, the Palais de Tokyo, Paris, the Kunstmuseum Mülheim an der Ruhr, the Salzburger Kunstverein, the MSU Museum, Zagreb und the Albertina, Vienna.
