From 5th April 2018, admission to the Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum for Contemporary Art – Berlin is free on every first Thursday of the month from 4 to 8 p.m.

Made possible by the Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft and created for a year under the motto “VOLKSWAGEN ART 4 ​​ALL” the House of the National Gallery and the presented permanent and special exhibitions are to be opened and arranged to a large audience. An own artist program with lectures, discussions and performances as well as mediation offers complete the initiative.

With this commitment, the Volkswagen Group enables a wider audience to visit the museum. On each free Thursday afternoon, an accompanying program of events will be offered which, in terms of content, will be closely linked to the current exhibition program of the house. The start will be on April 5, 2018 at 6 pm with a conversation with the artist Marjetica Potrč. From May to August 2018, the events of the special exhibition “Hello World. Revision of a collection “, which opens on April 27, 2018. In addition, there are additional tours and workshops for children.
