Hubertus Hamm, born 1950 in Werdohl, Sauerland, is a German photographer and photographic artist. From 1970 to 1973 he graduated from the Bayerische Staatslehranstalt für Fotografie in Munich with a diploma. He then assisted Jan Keetman until 1975. From 1977 Hubertus Hamm ran his own studio for editorial, conceptual and advertising photography in Munich. He realised advertising campaigns for BMW, Prada, Bosch, Bulthaup, Coca-Cola, Philipp Morris, Toshiba, Daimler Chrysler, Deutsche Bank, Ford, Fuji, Smart, Lufthansa and Marco Polo etc. as well as editorials for Süddeutsche Zeitung, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Focus, Spiegel, Stern and Die Zeit. Since 2000 his focus has been on art and exhibition projects. Works by Hubertus Hamm can currently be seen offsite in the solo exhibition “Dimensioning Photography“, initiated by the Galerie Kornfeld in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
