Starting February 20, 2026, 11 dancers from the Staatsballett Berlin will present their own choreographies as part of the Next Generation evening at the Tischlerei of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. The program will feature solos, pas de deux, and group choreographies that cover a wide stylistic and thematic spectrum.
Eleven choreographies created by dancers of the Staatsballett Berlin will premiere on February 20, 2026, at the Tischlerei of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. As part of the Next Generation format, ensemble members switch roles from performers to creators. They develop not only the choreography but also the music selection, set design, lighting and costume design, as well as projections and props used on stage.
