On 24 August 2024 the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden (SKD) will open its major anniversary exhibition on Caspar David Friedrich at two locations, the Albertinum and the Kupferstich-Kabinett. This will be the highlight and final chord of an eventful anniversary year in Dresden.
Two months before the exhibition opens, 20,000 tickets have already been sold, so the opening hours have now been extended: In addition, the Albertinum will be open from Thursday to Saturday, 6pm to 9pm and the Kupferstich-Kabinett on Thursday, 6pm to 9pm.
