The ZiLLEMUSEUM aims to keep alive the memory of Heinrich Zille, for a long time Berlin’s most popular artist, and to provide information about his life and work. It pays tribute to Heinrich Zille’s importance as a committed chronicler of the big city and its social problems as well as to his artistic achievements as a draughtsman, graphic artist and photographer.
With its current collection of more than 150 exhibits, the ZiLLEMUSEUM presents visitors with an important part of Berlin and German art and cultural history.
