Founded in 2016 by Russi Klenner and having steadily grown ever since, the gallery now represents twelve upcoming and established artists of diverse backgrounds. The artists embrace different media such as painting, photography, installation and conceptual art. With six exhibitions a year the gallery’s programme endeavours mostly to present solo shows of its artists, allowing for selected curatorial interventions in between.
It is the aim of the gallery to establish a long-lasting relationship with its artists, to accompany closely each stage of their development and support them not only by fostering close relationships with collectors in Germany and abroad, but also by organising exhibitions in museums and other cultural institutions to enhance their artistic profile. Works of the artists can be found in several private collections as well as national and international public collections and have been exhibited in museums and institutions in Germany and abroad. Another focus of the gallery is the regular publication of artists’ monographs with renowned publishing houses such as Hatje Cantz, Gestalten or Distanz.
