feinart berlin is a gallery for contemporary art in Berlin-Charlottenburg. The focus of the program is on the classic genres of painting, object and graphics. Artistic positions are represented that are related to representational art and also to those that critically deal with questions of “representationalism”, “realism” and “figurative” work.
Founder and managing director Maria Wirth is a philosopher and an independent painter herself. feinart berlin stands for exhibition concepts with the aim of working out special core themes, questions or breaks in the works or in the oeuvre of its artists. The approach is: there is no rich, deep work without the artists. For this reason, the gallery owner attaches great importance to the meaningful backgrounds of the exhibitions, which are worth dedicating time to.
Readings, discussions, artist talks and musical performances take place to deepen and expand the exhibitions. Current information on this can be found on the website of the gallery.

The art location at Niebuhrstraße 71 in Berlin-Charlottenburg was founded under the support of the private art patron Hans-Otto Nagel in April 2017 and operated under the name ArtStudio Maria Wirth until the end of 2019. Since in January 2020 the gallery has come of age, it realigned the company along with the change of the name to feinart berlin.
