until 27.07. | #1438ARTatBerlin | Galerie Martin Mertens presents from 24th June 2017 the group exhibition “Sommerblüten”.

With works by:
Giampiero Assumma – Tim Ayres – Radu Belcin – Antje Blumenstein – Julius Bobke – Daniel Bodner – Robert Bosisio – Adam Bota – Katrin Bremermann – Pius Fox – Simone Haack – Jim Harris – Stefan Hoehnerloh – Stefanie Holler – Jeffrey James – Matthias Kanter – Yuka Kashihara – Jörg Klaus – Robert Klümpen – Anna Kott – Bettina Krieg – Kai Mailänder – Ralf Peters – Flavia Pitis – Katja Pfeiffer – Tomoyuki Ueno – Tessa Verder – Santiago Ydáñez – Alexander Zakharov

This exhibition is a collaboration with Uwe Godenstein / Selected Artists and gives a synopsis of various international artists, also with recent works which have not been shown so far.

There will be new works on paper on display (Katrin Bremermann, Pius Fox), paintings (Radu Belcin, Robert Bosisio, Anna Kott, Santiago Ydáñez), sculptures (Jeffrey James, Tomoyuki Ueno) and photography (Ralf Peters, Tessa Verder). The topics the artists deal with are different, too – as the subjects and their artistic arrangement. Abstract and figurative, expressive and reticent, as well as conceptual works will come to a reciprocal communication within this exhibition.

Sommerblüten does not just reflect the gallery’s program. This extensive selection also brings different visual ideas and different artistic approaches to an interesting, yet rewarding dialogue.

Vernissage: Saturday, 24th June 2017, 6 to 9 p.m.

Exhibition period: Saturday, 24th June to Saturday, 15th July 2017 – extended until Thursday, 27th July 2017
