until 16.12. | #1642ARTatBerlin | Galerie 36 presents from 28th September 2017 the unique exhibition “Im Schatten der Linie” by the renowned French Photographer Jeanloup Sieff.

Jeanloup Sieff is remembered particularly as a fashion photographer – a categorization against which he fought vehemently throughout his life. Besides well-known fashion photographs, a wide-range and comprehensive collection of reportage, portraits, nudes and landscape photographs was created. Insofar the exhibition “Shadow Lines” offers a comprehensive and very personal view of the artist ‘s black and white photographs/ as one who challenges the limits of black and white photography and shows a compilation of dreamlike landscapes and poetic nudes from the late 1960s to the 1990s.
Exhibition period: Thursday, 28th September to Saturday, 16th December 2017
