until 12.12. | #2627ARTatBerlin | Galerie mutare shows from 19th November 2019 an exhibition with paintings and graphics by the guest artist Rolf-Dieter Grass in the second room of the gallery.

Rolf-Dieter Grass, born in 1951, was a member of the artists’ group “Der Karton” in Saarbrücken, whose works have claimed an art space for satire and have contributed critical marginalia to the Saarland cultural scene. He was involved in numerous joint exhibitions and artist symposia in Saarland and was awarded the 1st prize of the artist competition for the renewal of the Ludwigskirche in Saarbrücken. After a solo exhibition in Darmstadt in 1988, he was invited to a joint exhibition of the Artlantis Artists’ Circle in Bad Homburg. In 2016 and 2019 he participated with his works in the Friedenauer Ateliertour Südwestpassage, but also had solo exhibitions in Berlin.

Rolf-Dieter Grass lives and works in Berlin.

Since 17 November, paintings by the artist Deborah Esses have been shown in room 1 of the mutare gallery at the same time as Rolf-Dieter Grass.
