until 31.03. | #1880ARTatBerlin | Galerie Fahnemann shows from 10th February 2018 the exhibition “Brasilia” by the artists Lina Kim and Michael Wesely.

“In her own photography project, Kim and Wesely set up their cameras in various parts of the city, exposing for twelve hours: the city built in fast motion loses all traces of the momentary, cars dematerialize, people disappear, what is left is pure form, the world as a posthuman sculpture park, only the orbit of the sun, which in the long-term exposure looks like a shining, surreal megalithic monument, recalls the passage of time that can never be seen in the center of the ideal world. ”

Niklas Maak: Space without Shadows, FAZ, 04.09.2011

On the occasion of the 18 years of cooperation between Galerie Fahnemann and Michael Wesely, born in Munich in 1963, a journal will be published in the course of the exhibition. Michael Wesely lives and works in Berlin.
