Johannes Gervé was born in Karlsruhe in 1965.
From 1984 to 1991, he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe and was a master student of Prof. Klaus Arnold. He has been a freelance artist since 1991. Johannes Gervé is a member of the Deutscher Künstlerbund.

His works are represented in private and public collections, such as the Würth Collection, Karlsruhe Municipal Gallery, Ettlingen Castle Museum, EnBW Karlsruhe Art Collection, Bühl Municipal Collection, BBBank Art Collection, Stuttgart Regional Council, Karlsruhe Regional Council.
