until 03.10. | #5175ARTatBerlin | Galerie SCHMALFUSS BERLIN shows from Saturday, 12. September 2026 the group exhibition „Glänzende Zeiten“ by the artists Eric Decastro, Jürgen Jansen, Jürgen Paas, Bodo Korsig, Dirk Salz and Willi Siber.
Under the title Glänzende Zeiten, the gallery brings together six artistic positions whose works engage in different ways with surface, material, colour and light. The exhibition features paintings, wall-based objects and sculptures in which resin, pigments, metal, interference lacquer and other materials play a central role.

ERIC DECASTRO, DNA-200, stainless steel, interference lacquer, 80 x 60 x 200 cm

JÜRGEN JANSEN, Rosewood, 2024, oil and resin on wood, 120 x 150 cm
The exhibition includes, among others, Jürgen Jansen’s multi-layered pictorial surfaces built up with oil and resin, the precisely composed colour objects of Jürgen Paas, and works by Dirk Salz, whose reduced compositions gain a particular sense of spatial depth through the use of pigments and resin. Willi Siber works with highly reflective surfaces and interference lacquers, while Bodo Korsig and Eric Decastro are represented by sculptural works in metal.
