until 16.12. | #4058ARTatBerlin | Galerie Sievi shows from 13. Oktober 2023 the exhibition Drei Nationen by the artists Chiara Colombo, Nurcan Giz and Natarajaa.

Chiara Colombo

Her artistic research, which began with her dissertation “Gastone Novelli in dialogue with Klee”; evolved from the sign as an element that marks the fine line between painting and sculpture. From initially almost abstract themes such as architectures, clouds and angels, over time she has turned to a socially and ecologically engaged dimension without losing herself.

Nurcan Giz

The metamorphosis goes beyond the movement, it works in me as the large, black-purple tongue designs its choreography. The volume emerges and I nestle against her buttocks, her accents, her claw and caress, her spiritual architecture, attracted by the restless power, by the elegance, like the accent of a birthmark on a cheek.

Natarajaa

“Drawing is truth. There is no room in it for error, pretence, dissimulation or excuses. It is brutal. It is art in its most naked and essential form. Working with fire on paper demands a swift and spontaneous execution from me, without any possibility of correction, because paper is very fragile. This allows a play between energies, where the creative process happens at the limit of destruction”.

Opening: Friday, 13. October 2023, 7 pm

Exhibition dates: Friday, 13. October until Saturday, 16. December 2023
