until 22.10. | #0718ARTatBerlin | Wichtendahl Galerie shows from 9th September 2016 the exhibition Taska by the artist Annette Schröter.

Annette Schröter has made the series Taska after multiple visits to the Ukraine. It seems like the artist has travelled through time. In her papercuts, military memorials and everyday design of the post-socialist countries, contrast with the everyday moments and impressions gathered on those journeys, the artist addresses the subject of personal and social memory. Annette Schröter (*1956 in Meißen) is professor of painting at the Leipzig Academy of Fine Arts.
