until (to follow) | #5128ARTatBerlin | Galerie Sievi shows from 04. September 2026 the exhibition “Lichte Dynamik” by the artist Darko Lesjak.
Darko Lesjak was born in 1966 in Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia. He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and was awarded the title of ‘Meisterschüler’. He subsequently worked as a lecturer at the Academy for several years. Today, he lives and works as a freelance artist in Munich. He has exhibited his works in numerous galleries and museums both at home and abroad and is regularly represented at international art fairs.
Darko Lesjak’s abstract paintings are characterised by a combination of spontaneous gestures, multi-layered areas of colour and a clear structural order. His magnificent works oscillate between emotional expression and analytical composition, opening up pictorial spaces reminiscent of organic structures or architectural forms.
